I hear audio feedback & echo

Odyssey is best experienced using headphones—preventing nearly all echo and feedback related issues.

Audio echo and feedback is typically caused when someone is not using a headset, and using their built-in laptop microphone and speakers. There are a few ways to mitigate these issues.

Let the person know
Most often people do not realize they are creating echo by not wearing headphones. Kindly let them know, and they can mute themselves while they put on headphones.

Move away from the avatar creating feedback/echo
As Odyssey uses spatial audio, moving away from the avatar within the 3D space will remove them from your spatial audio area.
