To customize your avatar:

Join a 3D space
Click your avatar portrait in the upper right hand corner
Click Customize Avatar
Change your avatar's name, clothing, face, body type, and/or height
Click Done

Optional: Click the Dressing Room button to enter a private dressing room

Check that your device(s) are properly installed

Ensure that your mic and/or webcam are:

Plugged in or paired via Bluetooth
Powered on
Installed properly and running the most up-to-date drivers

Check you have the correct device(s) selected

How do I change audio & video settings?

Check that your Odyssey tab is not muted

Many browsers allow a user to mute/unmute tabs. Right click on the Odyssey tab to ensure that your tab is in an unmuted state.

Check your browser permissions

Odyssey needs permission from your browser to access your audio and video device(s).

To update browser permissions

Click on the lock icon in your browser's address bar
Verify that both camera and microphone access are enabled
To apply changes, you will need to reload the page

I am not receiving emails from Odyssey

Sometimes Odyssey emails are filtered or blocked by an email service provider. Here are a few things you can do to to ensure you receive emails from Odyssey.

Verify your email address was entered correctly
Check your Promotions, Spam and/or Junk folder(s). Sometimes Odyssey emails are filtered into a folder other than your primary inbox.
If you are using a corporate email, try a different email address. Sometimes corporate spam filters will tag Odyssey emails as spam.
For Outlook users: Outlook provides a way to add domains to a Safe Senders list. If you do not see our emails, try adding our domain odyssey.stream to your Safe Senders list. Check out Outlook's instructions on adding Safe Senders here.

How do I view a presentation?

Presentations in Odyssey will display as a picture in picture window in the upper right hand corner of the Odyssey and can be expanded to fill most of the screen.

I'm stuck on the "Loading environment" page

Stuck at "Loading environment"

In some instances, the Odyssey client may disconnect from our servers and be unable to reconnect automatically.

Refresh your tab

Click the Refresh icon in your browser
Click the Arrow Button to rejoin the 3D space
Wait ±30 seconds for Odyssey to finish loading the 3D experience

If refreshing the tab does not fix the issue, you will need to open Odyssey in a new tab (to manually restart the connection to the server).

Open Odyssey in a new tab

Copy the link Odyssey space from your browser's address bar
Open a new tab in your browser
Paste the Odyssey link and press Enter
Click the arrow button to rejoin the 3D space
Close any other Odyssey tabs you have open
